Event Details

Join us on Wednesday, May 30, at 3:30 p.m., for Wheatberry Wednesday! We’re going to read a book from a favorite children’s series of mine about a wonderful little girl named Lola, in Lola Plants A Garden. Then we’re going to round out our month about plants and gardens by planting one more time…in shoes. That’s right…shoes. I know you’ve got an old shoe lying around the house…maybe even a boot…just make sure it’s an old one that’s not being used anymore and is large enough to hold a plant, since we’ll be filling it with dirt.

Please sign up through our Eventbrite link. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/lola-plants-a-garden-shoe-planting-tickets-46190680569?aff=efbevent

Although there is no charge for this activity, the standard admission fee of $6.00 per person over six months of age does apply for museum entry if you do not have a family membership card.

Space is limited to 20 children and is intended for children of all ages, although, depending on age, some may need their adult’s help with portions of the activity.

Don’t forget to bring your shoe to plant in! Smiling & Waving, Mrs. S.
